Hiding Boxes

I am getting ready to hide my first box (not microbox).... I know some
of you have mentioned rubbermaid and items like that... but don't those
stand out? Do you use anything to disguise the box? Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated =]

I usually wrap my plastic container in burlap before putting it into
its hiding spot, then cover with whatever natural elements may be
around (rocks, pinecones, etc.). The burlap helps when heavy winds
may blow away coverage such as leaves.

There are many ways to camouflage, but I find this method, for me, to
be inexpensive and easy.

I'm a hollow tree fan myself. Add a handful of leaves or bark for
cover. The passer-by will never notice, but the letterboxers have
learned that leaves only wind up in the trees with boxes. You don't
wind up with people thrashing around in the underbrush looking for
the box.

Just not a rotten one - they get very icky. I like stones. They're neat and clean and quiet.
